The Houston Texans (6-4) will face off against the Dallas Cowboys (3-6) on Monday Night Football to conclude Week 11. Both teams are looking to end losing streaks as they head into this matchup. The Cowboys have dropped four straight games, including a 34-6 blowout loss to the Philadelphia Eagles last week. Meanwhile, the Texans are coming off back-to-back losses, most recently a 26-23 defeat to the Detroit Lions on a game-winning 52-yard field goal as time expired. Dallas will once again turn to Cooper Rush as their starting quarterback, with Dak Prescott out for the season due to a hamstring injury. The Cowboys' offense has struggled to find consistency without Prescott, putting additional pressure on their defense to keep them in games. For the Texans, wide receiver Nico Collins is set to return after being sidelined since Week 5 with a hamstring injury. His presence should provide a boost to Houston's passing attack, led by quarterback C.J. Stroud. Stroud has been a bright spot this season, ranking seventh in the NFL in passing yards (2,371) and tied for 10th in passing touchdowns (12). The Texans will look to exploit a vulnerable Dallas run defense, which ranks 31st in the league, allowing 152.1 rushing yards per game. Running back Joe Mixon has been a key weapon for Houston, amassing 655 rushing yards, 159 receiving yards, and eight total touchdowns this season. Mixon has five games with more than 100 rushing yards and could be poised for another big performance. The Cowboys’ biggest offensive threat remains wide receiver CeeDee Lamb, who is fifth in the NFL in receptions (59) and seventh in receiving yards (681) with four touchdowns. Lamb has consistently been a focal point of Dallas' offense and is capable of breaking open big plays. On defense, Dallas will rely on linebacker Micah Parsons, who returned from injury last week. Parsons has 16 total tackles and three sacks this season, and his ability to disrupt Houston’s offensive line will be a key storyline. The Texans rank third in the league in sacks allowed, giving up 35 so far this season, which could give Parsons and the Cowboys’ defense an opportunity to make an impact. Kickoff is set for 8:15 p.m. ET at AT&T Stadium in Dallas. Both teams are desperate for a win to stabilize their seasons, making this primetime showdown a must-watch.
